HOTEL HACIENDA LA HERRIZA

A bohemian sanctuary in the Andalusian hills, where Moorish heritage meets barefoot luxury.

Neatly made bed with beige linens, beige and black pillows, rattan headboard, green window shutters, and a wall-mounted sconce in a bright room.

bOho barefoot luxury

White two-story building with black awnings over doorways and windows, metal barred windows, a small balcony, a tree in a brick-bordered planter, two large decorative pots, and a cobblestone and brick paved courtyard under a clear blue sky.

The Challenge:

To transform a historic hacienda into a 28-unit bohemian retreat, seamlessly integrating a restaurant, bar, library, and expansive pool deck while honoring the property’s authentic Moorish roots and natural surroundings.

Key Materials: Natural Timber, Berber Rugs & Textiles, Linen, Clay Artisanship

The Solution:

We embraced a layered, textural approach using natural rustic timber finishes, handwoven Berber rugs, and breathable linen fabrics throughout. Artisanal clay vases and curated global artifacts enrich the spaces with soulful authenticity. The design blurs indoor and outdoor living, with the pool deck and open-air restaurant extending the bohemian luxury into the landscape.

The Result:

A deeply immersive escape that feels both refined and effortlessly relaxed. The hacienda now offers guests a holistic experience of understated elegance, cultural richness, and serene natural beauty.
