A celebrated tropical destination that embodied the essence of Bali's cliffside beauty.

A tropical restaurant or bar with a thatched bamboo ceiling, wicker hanging lamps, organized bar counter with bottles, and wicker chairs at the counter. Staff in blue shirts are working behind the bar, and there are seating areas with cushions and wooden tables.

The challenge:

To design a multi-zone beach club that seamlessly blended sophisticated Balinese design with a relaxed, vibrant atmosphere, creating distinct functional areas that catered to both social energy and tranquil relaxation.

Key materials:

Teak & Rope, Rattan, Carved Wooden Art, Organic Mirrors, Accent color ocean blue

The solution:

We crafted an organic, flowing layout using natural teak and rope details to define each zone. Dramatic arched openings framed the iconic ocean views, while handcrafted rattan lamps and carved wooden wall art added layers of authentic texture. Organic-shaped mirrors enhanced the bright, airy atmosphere throughout the large bar, pizza area, and beach lounges.

The result:

A stunning and highly acclaimed beach club that perfectly captured the spirit of Uluwatu. For the year it operated, it stood as a testament to innovative tropical design, successfully balancing energy and tranquility in a breathtaking setting.
