To carefully modernize a classic heritage villa, preserving its historic character while introducing updated layouts, modern amenities, and a fresh design perspective for contemporary living.

The solution:
We honored the building's history by restoring original features and introducing a material palette of herringbone timber floors and traditional patterned tile carpets. The bathrooms received a subtle modern update with classic fittings in a refreshed configuration, creating spaces that feel both timeless and current. Select modern furniture pieces were curated to contrast and complement the vintage architecture.
The result:
A beautifully updated villa where history and modernity converse gracefully. The design respects the past while creating light, functional, and comfortable living spaces for today, all set against the picturesque backdrop of the Ammersee.
